Combat Zone Paintball are proud to introduce Low Impact paintball for ages 10 years upwards. Using all the game fields, scenarios, props and pyrotechnics as standard paintball, with 70% less impact than standard paintball but 100% of the fun! These paintball markers we use are not slowed down or restricted in any way. During our testing stage, players could not tell the difference between low impact and the standard.

Low impact paintball was introduced because it maintains all of the fun of paintball without the reduction of gun speeds as ‘Junior Paintball’. All players get to use all of the standard game zones, with no limitations – Just less of a sting!

Our brand new Tippman FT50’s offer state of the art paintballing equipment making this perfect for new players who would like to try paintballing. The new markers have the same range as a standard paintball marker, but fires much smaller paintballs. The paintballs are a 3rd of the size as a standard ball and therefore have a much smaller impact.

.50 Caliber Vs. .68 Caliber Paintball

Until recently, paintball has most commonly been associated with being painful and leaving unwanted bruises. Worry no more! Now kids and adults can now enjoy paintball with less pain! Low impact paintballs are (.50 inches in diameter) smaller, lighter and more fragile than the traditional (.68 caliber) paintball. These specific paintballs deliver less sting upon impact making the experience more fun! A .68 caliber paintball weighs 3.00 grams. A .50 caliber paintball weighs only 1.25 grams (approximately the weight of a paperclip). Using the weight and average paintball velocity of the two paintballs we can calculate the amount of force a low impact paintball has when shot.
